Project Engagement (40%)

Acts as an integral and vital part of the support of the Product Development unit of Supply Chain Systems, focusing on supporting business initiatives through leveraged and innovative use of PLM systems, Image Management Tools, and other product development applications

Engages as a part of the IT team with various business resources on all initiatives to continue to advance the portfolio of product development application suite to support a strong and growing global brand

Acts as primary liaison with business partners for process issues and promotes collaboration based on best practice and business needs

Acts as advisor to subordinates (if any) to meet schedules and/or resolve issues.

Works on issues with Enterprise scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.

Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to employ resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to peers and subordinates (if applicable) within the latitude of established company policies.

Follows internal project methodology with experience and knowledge in both Waterfall and Agile development

Leads solution design efforts by coordinating workshops and proof of concepts while leveraging personal and third party expertise in project management, process modeling, prototyping/wire framing, data analysis software, and resource management

Documents current and future state business processes down to level 3 activity sheets

Participates in solution design workshops and documents functional gaps / issues

Partners with vendors and business areas to recommend resolutions to functional gaps / issues

Develops functional design documents for reports, interfaces, and conversions

Reviews and/or prepares system enhancement functional design, technical design, and software configuration documents

Testing (25%)

Assists QA / Testing Lead with creation of system and integration test scripts and execution of tests

Assists Business Process Leads with creation of user acceptance test scripts and execution of tests

Leads, coordinates, and/or performs in-depth tests, including system, integration, and customer acceptance, for new systems and modifications as well as other post-implementation support

Provides orientation to end users for all modified and new systems

User Support (25%)

Reinforces and facilitates change management by acting as solution evangelist

Assists with post-go-live usability support

Supports end users including the preparation of documentation, end user training and ongoing support. End user support to include analysis and resolution of operational issues as they arise (troubleshooting and issue resolution including exemplary communication to affected parties)

Collaborates with business teams in Georgia, New York, and Asia locations as needed

Provides support, including report revisions, for FlexPLM Reporting solution (Qiwk)

Team Support (10%)

Functions as team member or team leader of multi-member project teams as required to assist team in delivering initiative

Identifies new technologies and solutions to bring to the table in support of Product Development and Image Management for the Carter's enterprise

Experience and Skills

4+ years of experience in both product development and merchandising business processes in a complex environment, as well as experience with any product development / product lifecycle management system supporting those operations

Proven experience in order management, project management, and business analytics as well as track-record in a business analyst type role

Proven expertise in supply chain technology

Understanding of software implementation project methodology

Familiarity with Product Development / Product Lifecycle Management Systems in the current market

Superior Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills

Exemplary communication skills (written, presentation, meeting management, documentation)

Ability to work independently and manage multiple small and medium size projects and adapt to shifting priorities of the business

Some travel between remote locations in Georgia, New York and/or Asia may be required
