HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
This role reports into the Sr Copy Manager and is based in our Buckhead office in our hybrid work environment.
50%: Assist on Brand Marketing Initiatives
Collaborate with marketing, PR, and design partners on big and small brand marketing initiatives to create engaging content and projects that touch all channels (site experience, email, paid social, organic social, app, etc.) following brand voice guidelines, AP style, SEO best practices, consumer insights and legal considerations
Creative partnership and management when applicable with internal and external teams
Become an expert in the products of the brands and deliver accurate and compelling copy
20%: Help cultivate a new brand voice to elevate brand perceptions
Recommend and help create the core messaging for content based on research, executive direction and customer expectations
Will develop a strong understanding of the voice and tone for Carter’s brands, including Oshkosh, and Little Planet
20%: Create rich editorial content and storytelling to support all brands
Establish a style-centric point of view by seeking out global trends and ever-changing social vernacular
Generate long-form articles, blog posts, and unique storytelling content to support our parenting expertise and style stories
Partner closely with the product design and merchandising teams to gain a strong understanding of how each product line came to be
10%: Support Copy Manager when needed in execution of email, site and social cadence through concept and creation of emails, homepages, shops, subject lines, marketing initiatives, etc.
Ability to partner closely with design to concept, strategize, and execute quickly
Laser-focused editing skills and the ability to think visually

Brand copywriting experience
Talent for editorial writing
Strong copy-editing skills
Strong collaborator and communicator
Preferred skills and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of related experience in copy
