  • Operate Industrial Equipment to perform inventory tasks
  • Perform cycle counts, slotting moves, log exceptions, data entry and sorting of returns, and other activity as required by manager
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory of all supplies and communicating needs to Leadership
  • Responsible for promoting and maintaining all activity to achieve overall inventory accuracy
  • Responsible for optimal work flow and safety of assigned area.
  • Support the Operations Manager in duties as assigned including supporting all operational areas of the Distribution Center
  • Other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of hand (RF) scanners and experience using Warehouse Management
  • The ability to be certified on lift equipment
  • Must have the ability to work safely and abide by all of Carters Safety rules and procedures
  • Must have the ability to abide by all of Carters policies and procedures; specifically the attendance policy
  • Skilled at multi-tasking and should be able to react quickly to frequent priority shifts
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule while maintaining a good attendance record. High school diploma or GED, preferred not required
  • At least two years warehouse experience, preferably in an Inventory Control role.Must be able to handle cases weighing up to forty pounds for duration of shift
  • Must have a valid State issued Drivers License
  • Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time during shift and including daily overtime, Holidays and OT as needed
  • Must be able to work consecutive days in a row during peak
  • Holiday schedule to be decided by Management
  • Comply with blackout periods as determined by Management
